Council Member Williams Hosts Halloween Open House

Council Member Nantasha Williams hosted a Halloween Open House at her office on October 31st. The event was free and open to the public for all ages.

The recently minted “Dr.” Williams – having recently received her doctorate from the CUNY Graduate School – opened her doors to allow the public to come in and ask questions about the community. Trick-or-treaters looking for candy were greeted by the Council Member’s staff – all of whom were wearing costumes. The spirit of Halloween was in the air.

The Council Member’s Chief of Staff, Amir Abbady, shared his thinking about the importance of the event. “Well the Councilwoman wants to welcome everyone in the neighborhood,” Abbady stated. “Everyone is welcome to come in and ask us some questions about anything, grab some candy, and celebrate the holiday. We want to just have fun and have people see our costumes as well as theirs.”
