A Better Jamaica wrapped its Tuesday night presentations of Family Movies in the Park with a karaoke night in Brookville Park. Each of the other FMITP parks hosted a movie that was rained out this season.
Attendees picked their favorite songs and sang their hearts out, while the lyrics were displayed on the screen.
The coordinator of the event, Teel, shared some insight into what makes this event so enjoyable for everyone. “Well, I love Karaoke personally,” Teal stated. “And seeing people enjoy their favorite songs and jam to them is cool to watch because it’s us showing how our community can bond over straightforward things.”
