Assemblywoman Alicia L. Hyndman held her annual community day festival on October 25th in front of her office on Merrick Boulevard. The all-age-friendly event was free and open to the public.
The festival included many different vendors from the local community. One of them, REPPIN Apparel, specializes in making headwear featuring different South East Queens neighborhoods branded.
Another company, Lime, made an appearance to show the community the proper way to use a Lime scooter.
There were plenty of activities for children – including dancing to DJ music and playing in the bouncy house and giant slide.
