The Fire Department of New York held a recruitment event at Jamaica Station on August 10th. Everyone from the public had a chance to walk up to the table and receive information about opportunities from FDNY.
Fire Department representatives discussed different positions, such as Firefighter, EMS Trainee, Fire Alarm Dispatcher, and Fire Protection Inspector.
The event aimed to promote the upcoming Fire Department exam and to share what it takes to qualify for different positions.
