King Manor hosted its annual Fall Festival at the museum site. The event was free and open to the public for all ages.
The festival provided opportunities for children to do everything from pumpkin picking in a pumpkin patch, to receiving free books from a book giveaway, to do arts and crafts. Adults were given a tour of the museum and information on programs being offered.
Kelsey Brow, the director of King Manor Museum, provided insight on why she enjoys this event. “We want to create a place in the community for people to come together,” Brow stated. “We want a space where everyone feels they can create a safe place and express themselves freely.”
