The King Manor hosted Hands-On-History: Transfer at Jamaica on October 5th at their King Manor site. The event was free and open to the public for all ages.
Hands-On History is a free family program series held on the first and third Saturdays of the month at King Manor from 1-4 pm.
The October 5th event was designed to highlight the less-known areas of Jamaica Queens and the development of area transit throughout the years. Attendees were given information on how trains developed over time and were given the opportunity to design a train using arts and crafts.
