Bishop Calvin Rice and the New Jerusalem Worship Center hosted an Easter Egg Hunt on April 19th. The event was free and open to church members.
Adults and children celebrated Easter with fun games, leading to an Easter Egg Hunt. The event then moved into the gymnasium, where an enormous celebration was held, including a DJ playing music, plus food and drinks.
Minister Vanessa Sinclair, children’s ministry leader, shared why she is excited to have this event. “You know, we notice that we can leave a mark on the community,” Sinclair stated. “We want the young children to understand the meaning of the resurrection and how it’s so important for us to all come together and celebrate each other.”
