The Jamaica Center of Arts and Learning recently hosted its second Thursday Night Jazz Festival performance of the 2023-2024 season. Cameron Campbell took the stage on November 9th.
The Thursday Night Jazz Festival is a free featured Jazz performance open to the public every second Thursday of the month. According to Curator Rio Sakairi, JCAL is offering “cutting-edge contemporary Jazz from October until May.”
The audience was first greeted with refreshments at the door, including chips, wine, and wraps. They then proceeded to the auditorium for the performance.
Cameron Campbell is a pianist, composer, and producer from Massachusetts with a primary focus on black American music that combined classical RnB sounds with Afro-Electronic influences.
