The clothing and sneaker store Snipes held a Black Friday sale on November 29th at its Jamaica, Queens location. Shoppers of all ages were welcome to purchase their favorite brands at the lowest of prices!
An abundance of red tags made it feel more like a going-out-of-business sale than a Black Friday sale, but that was to the benefit of shoppers. There were brand-name hoodies for adults at the discounted price of $49.99, children’s Levis jeans and sweatpants for $39.99, and Adidas / Chicago Bulls apparel for only $29.99.
The abundance of inexpensive sneakers created the biggest opportunity to be taken advantage of. All different colors of low-top Nike Air Force Ones and other iconic shoes were available at prices ranging from $65-$100. The Air Jordan brand had just released the retro Black Cement 3’s, which were on the shelves for $220.
