York College hosted a YOUTHpreneur Summit on September 21st. The event was free and open to the public. The summit was presented in collaboration with New York Council Member Nantasha Williams and Resorts World Casino.
The event was designed to provide young men and women through age 21 with insight into what it takes to be an entrepreneur. There were free refreshments with giveaways and information about new business opportunities for students to take advantage of.
One of the panelists, Matthew Anatalio, explained his journey into the stock market business. “Well to be honest I had children early,” Anatalio stated, “Because of that I learned regardless of what is going on, I have to get something done. I didn’t want my wife to struggle and go through anything. So that’s my definition of success. And I was able to find some form of it within the market.”
