Councilwoman Nantasha Williams Provides Family Fun

Council Member from District 27, Nantasha Williams, hosted Fall Family Fun Day at Wayanda Park on November 4th. The event was free for the public with a reservation and was open to all ages.

The event was geared towards children as they provided multiple bouncy castles and inflatable haunted houses. Along with those, they also had fun games such as Jumbo Jenga and Connect 4. The concession stand had all the necessary treats, including popcorn and cotton candy.

Special assistant to Councilwoman Nantasha Williams, Kate Fenton, spoke about the event and why it was important to host it at the chosen location. “We don’t have a lot of events here,” Fenton stated. “So it’s good for the kids to be able to have an event that they feel is for them in their own neighborhood.” She continued by stating that it’s important to show that the council member “spends funds throughout the entire district.”
