Unique Ladies hosted a breast cancer awareness outing on October 28th in Brookville Park.
The Unique Ladies group of ladies, men, and children arrived at the site wearing their signature pink shirts as they all prepared to walk to promote breast cancer awareness. The event began with delicious refreshments such as donuts and coffee.
The President of Unique Ladies, Nourish Hope Edokwe Agassi, spoke about the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness. “This is what it’s all about. We are creating awareness,” Edokwe Agassi stated. “The big reason we do this is to let people know that early detection is essential.” She finished the interview by reminding people how important it is to monitor their health: “You think you know it all, but we learn something new every day.”
