After a three-year COVID-inspired hiatus, Saturday, January 21st, 2023 witnessed the return of the Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated’s (https://www.dstquac.org/) annual soiree. The soiree is the chapter’s main fundraiser for its scholarship fund.

The $65 per person event asks guests to bring their own food and beverage, to share with their tablemates and others – which usually results in more food and drink than any human can consume in one evening.

As tradition would have it, Antun’s of Queens Village played host to the soiree. Though this year’s soiree did not sell out – it usually does shortly after tickets go on sale – over 1,000 people were in attendance. This year’s soiree had two party rooms – Antun’s main first floor room and one of the upstairs rooms – instead of the usual three.

As usual, the guests partied hard and were as elegant as ever. The Brown’s Sounds Entertainment (https://www.thebrownssoundsentertainment.com/) once again provided the exquisite DJ music.
