The Springfield Gardens Eagles faced off against the Campus Magnet Bulldogs on November 12th. The occasion was filled with great music and fantastic food for the audience to have the best sporting experience. The game took place on Springfield Gardens’ home field. With parent’s and cheerleaders attending, the arena was filled with loud chants for both the home and away teams.
The first half was difficult for the Springfield Gardens Eagles, as they failed to move the ball up field. On one of the last drives of the first half, the quarterback threw an interception that resulted in a converted touchdown for the Bulldogs. The teams went into the locker room for halftime with the score being 24-0 in favor of the Bulldogs.
Both teams came out hungry to make a major impact in the second half. The Bulldogs’ quarterback was on fire as he completed a few fantastic quick passes and deep throws to add to the team’s positive yardage. The Eagles’ struggles unfortunately continued in the second half as they were unable to stop the bleeding from the ferocious run and passing game of the Bulldogs. After a hard fought battle, the Campus Magnet Bulldogs finished with the victory 38-0.
